What is surplus/secondary plate? Just like our tubing, we shop the mills to find excess inventory. Most of the time, mills have excess materials stored in their facilities from previous orders. We keep A36 mild carbon plate in stock, sometimes it comes in P & O. We may get bundles of plate that vary in sizes but this saves you money if you can use what we have. The savings is significant enough to draw customers from hundreds of miles to stock up on plate. Quantity Discounts on orders of 2000# or more. As always, it is cheaper to purchase an entire sheet, but we now have the capabilities of cutting it for you (up to 1/4"). Larger Plate can be torch cut.
