Basic Rental Terms
Rental Periods

Daily Rental. A Rental day is considered to be 8 hours of running time on the equipment, and 24 hours of actual possession. Example, you pick it up at 2:00 pm on Monday, it needs to be returned by 2:00 pm on Tues.

Weekly Rental. A Rental week is considered to be 40 hours of running time on the equipment, and 7 days of actual
possession. Example, you pick it up at 10:00 am on Wednesday, it needs to be returned by 10:00 the following Wednesday.

Monthly Rental. A Rental month is considered to be 160 hours of running time on the equipment, and one calendar month of actual possession. Example, you pick it up at 3:00 on March 1st, it needs to be returned by 3:00 on April 1st.

Extensions. If it looks like you are going to need the equipment for an extended period of time, you need to contact us 48 hours in advance of your return time. We may extend your rental period only if your account is in good standing and there are no previously paid reservations for that equipment.

Rental Payments

Rental payments are due in advance of taking possession of the equipment, as well as a deposit. Example, you are renting the Case 410 for 3 days at a rate of $120/Day.  You would pay $360 in rents (plus use tax) and a seperate $500 deposit that will be refunded upon return of the equipment in satisfactory condition.

Insurance. You must maintain at all times Property Insurance covering the equipment from all sources, as well as General Liability. The policy shall name LaChance Industrial Services, LLC as loss payee. We will need a copy of this coverage before the equipment leaves our facility.

Equipment Maintenance

You will be responsible for all expenses, including but not limited to, fuel, lubrications and all other charges in connection with the operation of the equipment. You will maintain the equipment in good mechanical condition and running order, allowing for reasonable wear and tear. All installations, replacements, and substitutions of parts or accessories with respect to any of the equipment will become part of the equipment and will be owned by us. All equipment will be inspected prior to leaving and upon return. Equipment is fully fueled when leaving, and should be returned full of fuel to avoid additional charges on your rental billings.

Equipment Use

You will use the equipment in a careful and proper manner and will not permit any of the equipment to be operated or used in violation of any applicable federal, state or loacal statute. You agree to reimburse us in full for all damage to the equipment arising from any misuse or negligent act by you, your employees and agents. You will also provide us with the location that the equipment is being used and/or stored.

Equipment Return

Upon the expiration of this agreement you will return said property to us, together will all accessories, free from all damage and in the same condition and appearance as when received by you, allowing for ordinary wear and tear.

Delivery

Any deliveries and/or pick up of the equipment by us will be charged at the rate of $85/hr from the time we leave our shop to our return.
